Start by building your HomeAhead Profile. It brings together your finances, documents, and HomeAhead Score, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

Advocates are here to assist you as you move forward, helping you stay organized, understand the process, and prepare for conversations with independent lenders.
PARTICIPATING LENDER OPTIONS
Your path, your choice.
Take your HomeAhead Profile to any lender, there’s no requirement to use a participating lender.
Participating lenders meet program standards and offer additional union-backed benefits. You can compare these options to determine what works best for you.
MORTGAGE RELIEF PROGRAM (MRP)
Added protection when you need it most.
The Mortgage Relief Program (MRP) is a union-funded benefit designed to help protect your home during periods of financial disruption.
If a disability, strike, or lockout interrupts your income, MRP may provide temporary payment assistance during an approved period.
MRP is available on eligible mortgages through participating lenders, while Members remain free to choose any lender.
Teamster HomeAhead operates as a homeownership preparation platform and is not a lender, mortgage broker, or referral service.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Homeahead Platform, Consumer Choice, and Program Protections
The Teamster Homeownership Program is a homeownership preparation platform designed to help Teamster Members prepare for homeownership. Through the Program, Members have access to educational resources, planning tools, and a personalized HomeAhead Profile that helps them organize their information and understand how it compares to common public benchmarks before pursuing a mortgage.
Members retain full control over their HomeAhead Profile. Members may choose to print or export their profile and provide it directly to any mortgage lender of their choosing, whether or not that lender participates in the Teamster Homeownership Program. The Teamster Homeownership Program does not require Members to use a participating lender and does not restrict a Member’s ability to shop for, compare, or obtain mortgage financing outside the Program.
Members may elect, at their express direction, to transmit their HomeAhead Profile to a participating lender within the Teamster Homeownership Program framework and may be eligible for additional program features or mortgage options offered by participating lenders, subject to the lender’s eligibility criteria.
Certain union-sponsored benefits and protections, including the Teamster Homeownership Program Mortgage Relief Payment (MRP), apply only to qualifying mortgages originated through participating lenders within the Teamster Homeownership Program framework. Mortgages originated outside the Program framework are not eligible for these program-specific protections. Members remain free to choose the lender and mortgage option that best meets their individual needs.
